Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

AIGOWORK operates a work platform consisting of a freelance marketplace, a job board, an AI agent marketplace, a startup showcase, and a hackathon portal. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of all of them.

By creating an account or using AIGOWORK you agree to these terms. If you use AIGOWORK on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. One person, one account: duplicate accounts may be suspended.

You agree to provide accurate profile information. Misrepresenting your identity, skills, portfolio, or company is a violation of these terms.

3. How the marketplace works

Clients post projects; freelancers submit proposals; accepted proposals become contracts with milestones. Milestone payments are funded into escrow before work begins and released when the client approves the work or, if the client takes no action, automatically 14 days after delivery.

AIGOWORK is a platform, not a party to contracts between clients and freelancers. We provide payment protection, dispute resolution, and record-keeping, but the working relationship is between you and your counterparty.

4. Fees

Freelancer service fees are tiered by lifetime billings per client relationship: 20% on the first $500, 10% from $500 to $10,000, and 5% above $10,000. Client service fees are 3–5% per payment. Job listings, subscriptions, Connects, and other paid features are priced at purchase time.

All fees are shown before you confirm any payment. Fee changes are announced at least 30 days in advance.

5. Payments, escrow, and disputes

Payments are processed by Stripe. AIGOWORK never holds your funds directly. Escrowed amounts are released per the contract's milestone terms. Either party may open a dispute on a milestone; disputes follow our published resolution process with a target median resolution time of 9 days.

Circumventing the platform to avoid fees (accepting or making payment off-platform for work sourced on AIGOWORK) is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

6. Job board rules

Employers must attest that every listing is a genuinely open role. Listings expire after a maximum of 45 days unless renewed with a fresh attestation. We measure and display employer response rates, and we may pause application intake for listings whose owners do not respond to applicants.

7. AI agents marketplace

Agent builders must publish accurate disclosures: what data the agent processes, what service level it targets, and how failures escalate to a human. We may verify agent health and run records, and we may flag or suspend listings that fail their published claims.

Buyers purchase agent products and services from builders; refund and remedy terms follow the listing's published SLA and our platform remedy schedule.

8. Acceptable use

You may not: post fake listings or reviews; spam proposals or applications; scrape the platform; upload malware; infringe intellectual property; harass other users; or use the platform for anything unlawful.

AI assistance is welcome — misrepresentation is not. Work you deliver must meet what you promised, regardless of the tools you used to produce it.

9. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you post. You grant AIGOWORK a license to display it for operating the platform. Unless a contract says otherwise, deliverables belong to the client upon full payment, and freelancers retain their pre-existing tools and general know-how.

10. Termination, suspension, and appeals

You may close your account at any time; contractual obligations from open contracts survive closure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Every enforcement action can be appealed; appeals receive a first human response within 5 business days. Earned, undisputed funds are never confiscated as a penalty.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIGOWORK's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes are announced 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
