Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: name, email, password hash, and the roles you activate. Profile data you choose to add: skills, portfolio, work history, rates, company details. Transaction data: contracts, milestones, payments, and payouts (processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers). Usage data: product events such as pages searched, proposals submitted, and features used.

Verification data: if you verify your identity, Stripe Identity processes your document and selfie; we store only the verification outcome.

2. How we use it

To operate the platform: matching, search, messaging, contracts, and payments. To keep it safe: fraud prevention, spam detection, and dispute resolution. To improve it: aggregated product analytics hosted in the EU. To communicate: transactional email always; marketing email only with your consent, with one-click unsubscribe.

We do not sell your personal data. Match scores and rankings that affect you come with explanations — see our transparency commitments.

3. What other users see

Your public profile (name, headline, skills, portfolio, reviews, badges) is visible to other users and to search engines. Your email, payment details, and private feedback are never public. Messages are visible only to conversation participants and, when a dispute requires it, to our resolution team.

4. Who we share with

Service providers under contract: Stripe (payments and identity), hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery, EU-hosted analytics, and error monitoring. Legal authorities when a valid legal process requires it. A successor entity if AIGOWORK is acquired — with notice to you.

5. Your rights

Access and portability: request a machine-readable export of your data. Erasure: request deletion of your account and personal data; we retain only what law requires (for example, tax and transaction records). Correction: edit your profile at any time. Objection and restriction: contact us about any processing you object to.

To exercise any right, use the settings page or email privacy@aigowork.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and security. Optional analytics cookies are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie banner or settings.

7. Retention and security

We keep personal data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after closure, except records we must keep by law. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt; data is encrypted in transit; access to production data is restricted and audited.

8. International transfers and children

We operate globally; where data leaves your region we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. AIGOWORK is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
